MIA in MIA (and Aspen)

Sorry that I've let so much time lapse between postings. I've already been scolded by Laura. Shame on me. I've been traveling quite a bit lately, so I haven't been able to blog as much as I'd like.
I must concur with Laura about the status of Miami's airport, MIA. This airport is a complete mess. My bags haven't been lost going through this airport, as I've always carried-on, but navigating MIA is a task that should be part of The Amazing Race. Speaking of, I'm bummed because they aren't accepting anymore applications (just found this on cbs website).
So, I'm off to Aspen this afternoon for the rest of the week and weekend. I'm going for Aspen Gay Ski Week. That's right. A week for gays in Aspen.

The New York Times reports...

Check out this article from today's Times about the declining price of first-class fares and how this could influence fliers' loyalty to airlines. I'm not sure if this will become a trend, but it's an intersting point of view nonetheless.
Also a huge FYI, Delta is now offering unlimited, unrestricted upgrades to any Sky Miles elite member on any ticket (regardless of fare class).

Big Gay Uncle

If you haven't already heard, Annamaria Krans was born yesterday, at 4:45 PM in Green Bay, Wisco. She weighed 7 lbs and 7 ounces (the same my brother weighed at birth) and is very healthy and active. Of course, her favorite (and only) uncle had a 5 foot teddy bear waiting in the wings (my mom's house) to be delivered a few hours later. I can't figure out how to post pictures on my blog, but let me know if you'd like to see the most beautiful baby girl ever to see daylight ; )
It's already been decided (by me) that Annamaria will make regular trips to New York for over-the-top shopping excursions and luxurious trips to the spa.

Welcome everyone to my newly created blog. First off, I have to give props to Laura for encouraging me to set up a blog. Okay, she didn't so much encourage me, but more so just got me addicted to reading her blog. I soon became very jealous that I did not have a life, I mean blog, of mine own. So, in Laura's footsteps, I will use this blog to share my thoughts, stand proud on my soap box, and distribute random pieces of information and wisdom.
So, back to addictions...my latest addiction is the movie Mean Girls. I bought the DVD about two weeks ago and have since watched it about 27 times. I'm not kidding. If you don't already own it, please go out and by it now.
